- Ina checked into the mental health clinic
After years of struggling silently with her mental health, Ina made the decision to seek professional help. On 19 September 2024, with the support of her loved ones, she checked into a mental health clinic, where she spent six weeks as an inpatient, followed by four weeks of outpatient care.

BEHIND MH WARRIORS
The Decision That Changed Her Life
This decision changed her entire life. It saved her life.
She not only gained a better understanding of the causes behind her struggles, but after years of misdiagnoses, she finally received the correct diagnoses. Having answers helped her make sense of what she had been going through and allowed her to receive the treatment and support she truly needed.
Starting Over

After losing her job and many friendships during one of the most difficult periods of her life, Ina found herself facing a new beginning.
She decided to use this time to reflect, understand herself better, and discover what she wanted to do moving forward.

The Realisation
One day, Ina decided to openly share her mental health journey on social media.
Soon after, she began receiving messages from people who were facing similar struggles. Many shared their fears of being judged, misunderstood, or losing people in their lives if they spoke openly about their mental health. Others didn't know where to turn for support.
It was then that Ina realised something important: she wasn't alone, and neither were they.
What began as one person's experience revealed a much bigger need for awareness, understanding, and safe spaces where people could speak openly without fear of judgement.
Something has to change
Realising how much stigma and shame still surrounded mental health, Ina knew something needed to change.
While attending fitness and creative events, her friend Alessia encouraged her to explore organising events herself. That simple suggestion sparked an idea: what if movement, creativity, and community could help break the stigma around mental health?
She believed that bringing people together could create opportunities for open conversations, raise awareness, and help others discover where to find support.
And from that idea, Mh Warriors was born.

- MH Warriors hosted its very first mental health awareness event in collaboration with Heart2Heart
We were honoured to welcome Bindu from Heart2Heart (part of 143, the Swiss National Mental Health Support Line) as a speaker at our very first event.
This event marked the beginning of a meaningful journey towards breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, encouraging open conversations, raising awareness, and building a supportive community where no one has to feel alone in their struggles.
It also marked the beginning of Mh Warriors' journey of supporting organisations that make a difference in our communities. Through our events, Warriors Classes, and Act of Kindness projects, we raise funds and collect donations to support the vital work these organisations do for those in need.

- MH Warriors launched Warriors Classes
An initiative that brings together fitness and yoga instructors to support organisations providing mental health support and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.
Through these occasional collaborations, instructors can choose to donate all or part of their class fees to a selected organisation, turning movement into an opportunity to make a difference.

- Mh Warriors launched the Act of Kindness Project.
The Act of Kindness Project aims to make a positive difference by collecting donations to provide essential items to orphanages, animal shelters, and communities in need.
Through small acts of kindness, we hope to bring meaningful change and support those who need it most.
