About the Event
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS: SOCIAL DOGS đž
Join us for another Mental Health Awareness event, where this time we will be exploring the topic of social dogs and their positive impact on mental wellbeing. We are honoured to welcome the Barry Foundation, St. Bernard dogs, who will share insights into the important role dogs play in supporting mental health. Participants will also learn about the incredible work they do through their Social Intervention Program: Dog-Assisted Therapy, which helps foster connection and comfort within the community. Following the information session, participants will have the opportunity to ask the trainers questions and spend time interacting with the two incredible dogs, Lynn and Apollo.
For this event, there will also be a calming yoga session, followed by a lovely opportunity for community connection with non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.
As with every event, a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to an organisation. For thisâŚ
