Our Story

How It All Started…

August 2024

Ina, the founder, struggled with her mental health for a very long time, but she never sought proper support and was not open about what she was going through. She was afraid of how people would see her and worried that those she cared about might leave if they knew about her mental health struggles.

For years, she continued to hide how she truly felt. She was a highly functional individual, extremely good at masking her pain, so on the outside she seemed completely fine.

It was not until the end of August 2024, when a major trigger led her into a mental health crisis.
At that moment, Ina felt like giving up and no longer had the strength to keep fighting — but something inside her pushed her to hold on, to tell someone what was happening, and to look for support.

And that is when Ina finally asked for help.

September 2024

In September 2024, Ina voluntarily checked herself into a mental health clinic, where she spent 6 weeks as an inpatient and 4 weeks as an outpatient.

At the clinic, she not only learned about her diagnoses but also how to live a happy and healthy life despite having mental health conditions.

Seeking help truly saved her life, but it also made her realise how deeply mental health is still stigmatised.

November 2024

After leaving the clinic, Ina started a mental health awareness Instagram page and began opening up about her struggles. She also started posting about different mental health topics to educate others and shine a light on the topic.

She created this page to reach people who were also struggling, so they would never feel alone — and to encourage others to seek support when they need it.

Through this Instagram page, she connected with many wonderful people who began sharing their own struggles and personal stories with her.

She knew she had to do something more, because so many people were struggling in silence.

From then on, she began brainstorming ways to bring more awareness to mental health and to reach as many people as possible. She started contacting various mental health organisations to explore how they could work together.

That’s when Ina decided to create mental health awareness events. Through events, she could reach a larger number of people, spread more awareness, and donate a portion of the ticket sales to mental health organisations that provide essential support to those in need.

September 2025

On the 14th of September, MH Warriors hosted their first ever mental health awareness event at the ANNTIN Studio, in collaboration with Heart2Heart, which is part of 143 — the Swiss National Mental Health Support Line.

The event was a huge success; the tickets sold out very quickly, and we were able to donate a significant portion to Heart2Heart so they can continue the amazing work they do.

From September to November 2025, MH Warriors hosted four events, all of which sold out. This allowed us to support the organisations even further and bring even more awareness to mental health.

We have many exciting plans for 2026, and we are incredibly grateful for the community we are building.

We truly believe that together, we can make an impact.
